Dear Friends,

Welcome to the website for the Municipal Government of Sant Sadurní d’Anoia. We hope this space will be increasingly useful to you. Our goal is for people to get to know our town and, by extension, our Municipal Government. I invite you to make the most of this resource for disseminating information about our town and hope it may also serve you as a guide to enjoying all that Sant Sadurní has to offer.

It goes without saying that nowadays such a tool is indispensable both to the residents of the town as well as to those who come to visit us from all corners of the earth, and this is so for many reasons: it enables people to learn about news of local interest, the services of the Municipal Government, cultural, athletic, recreational and social activities you will discover on the cultural calendar, or to find out about the local organizations that have their own websites.

We are a hospitable people who open our doors to all, whether to live here or simply visit. Ours is a land of vineyards, known as the Cava Capital, and we are eager to greet our visitors offering the best that we have: Cava, cuisine, tours of modernist architecture, shopping, as well as certain traditional popular celebrations such as the ‘Fires i Festes’ with their Festa de la Fil•loxera (Phylloxera Festival), the Neighborhood festivals during the Octava del Corpus, Cavatast (Cava tasting) and the ancient factory of La Fassina de can Guineu, which is a municipal reference point for industrial tourism.
